Commission Artwork
Portrait
I often do portraits of people on site fairly quickly. I'm also available to do that online if you have a good photo reference. I also do animals, characters from film or comics, or whatever else you can think up. Prices vary by commission and by medium. These are traditional medium works, so the original would be mailed to you after a digital scan of professional photo was sent. Usually single characters with no background are the lower price, multiple characters with backgrounds, portraits, or complex things that take time and skill are more.
Unless you have a specific request, the prices are for works of my own from my own mythology/storylines and my imagination. If you know my work, then you know you'll get something cool done with all the skill I've gathered over the years. Requests are done in my style and my interpretation, so know that I don't do copies of other artists' work. Requests can also be denied (although I don't do that often). Portraits (of anyone or anything) requires a good photo reference.
Note: A portrait or any piece requiring client chosen reference must have *good* reference and adds at least 50% to the price (if reference is required email me at [email protected] to begin the process of discussing the piece).
Quick Ink Sketches in Sumi-e style
I do these at comic-con for fans and guests - They are very fast - usually five minutes or so, and done very loosely on watercolor paper with black ink. I do whatever subject strikes me at the time, and some of them come out pretty weird. Moebius weird (which most people enjoy). They arent censored, and really you could get just about anything (seriously), BUT - they *are* cheap. I will do these for ten dollars plus shipping (3 dollars for media mail). But you get what you get. All I can promise is it will be done with all the skill I can put into it and I will try to make it cool. :) If you know me and my art, you know what subjects are likely to come up. But really - it could be anything. They are signed.

I have worked in the freelance illustration world for over 30 years. Anything you want can be arranged. Prices vary depending on complexity, size, and medium. If its not entirely from imagination, and if its someone, someplace, something specific, I may require good reference.
